According to reports from the news outlet Soompi, which obtained information from the Seoul Yongsan Police Station, the BTS member was taken to the police station, where he received a ticket and had his <b>license withdrawn<\/b> after testing <b>positive for alcohol<\/b> beyond the limits allowed by law.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">The news was later confirmed by his agency, Bright Entertainment, through a post on Weverse. The message reads: <i>\u201cSuga fell while parking, after traveling about 500 meters. A nearby police officer administered a breathalyzer test, which resulted in a fine and suspension of his license. Suga is also currently completing his <b>compulsory military service<\/b> as a community service officer\u2014an alternative form of service that allows him to move freely as a normal citizen after 6 p.m. The Military Manpower Administration stated that the incident is not subject to military law.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">It should be noted that <b>in Korea, electric scooters are classified as \"personal mobility devices\" and are subject to the same laws that apply to motor vehicles<\/b>. Driving a scooter while intoxicated therefore carries the same administrative penalties as driving a car under the influence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">An apology followed the next day from Suga, who shared a message on Weverse:\n<i>\u201cI am deeply sorry and apologize for disappointing you with this news. Last night, after drinking during a dinner party, I returned home using an electric scooter. I broke traffic rules, mistakenly believing it was just a short ride. Although no one was injured and no property damage occurred, the responsibility is entirely mine, without any excuse. I sincerely apologize to everyone.
